TECHNOLOGIES & RESEARCH

THE KIBO ROBOTICS KIT

KIBO is a robotics kit for young children ages 4-7 developed by the DevTech Research Group at Tufts University, now commercially available through KinderLab Robotics. I was thrilled to be a part of the early research and development of KIBO during my Ph.D. at Tufts. Check out the video I created above to see KIBO in action or read more about the development of KIBO here.

KIBO IN SINGAPORE

I had the pleasure of traveling to Singapore twice to work on research conducted by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) in collaboration with the DevTech Research Group at Tufts University. This was so exciting to me because my mom is from Singapore and I had not visited since I was a very little girl! Learn more about this research in my co-authored article here.

BILLUND BUILDS MUSIC

Billund Builds Music was a project I was a part of in Billund, Denmark that was launched through a collaboration between the Tufts University Center for Engineering Education and Outreach (CEEO), and the Capital of Children. Approximately 4,000 students and 300 educators from across Billund participated in the project, which incorporated an exploration of music, engineering, science, and more. Read about it here.

THE BACTOMARS VIDEOGAME

BactoMars is a videogame that teaches foundational bioengineering content to children. I worked on BactoMars during my PostDoc fellowship at Tufts. Learn more here.
